摘要
An electric vector potential formulation of the eddy current problem is presented using the finite element method (FEM). Analogies are drawn between the electric vector potential (EFP) and the more familiar magnetic vector potential (MVP). Comparison to a closed form solution and limiting cases are given. The method is then applied to the problem of losses in the stator end teeth of turbine generators.
