摘要：
A new type of conveyor allows breakable objects to be stopped and accumulated without generation of damaging impact or crushing forces. This conveyor is equipped with parallel, multiple conveyor belts, and has air-actuated lifter assemblies installed at selected locations along its length. The article discusses how air-actuated lifters generate ramp surfaces that lift conveyed object from belt, brings it to gentle stop.
