摘要
Many remote villages in developing countries have the potential for producing electricity from local streams and rivers. In many cases the head available is low (up to 10 m). The present paper concentrates on the development of a low head, low-cost integral propeller turbine-induction generator unit for village hydroelectric schemes. It investigates possible designs for a low cost, low head axial flow turbine directly coupled to an induction generator.
