摘要
The use of distributed virtual screening in the process of drug discovery is discussed. Efficient software solutions such as the SYBYL from Tripos and the Flex-software suite from BioSolve IT provide rapid , accurate presentations of real-world pharmacology. A major benefit of these applications is the empowerement of individual chemists to perform high-level virtual studies. Small discovery-based firms are now competing efficiently in the realm of virtual synthesis and screening with the help of powerful computing at reasonable costs.
