摘要
The residual stresses for a vacuum-plasma titanium-nitride coatings ranging from -780 to -2800 MPa depending on the thickness of the coating were determined. The application of solid chromium sublayer and also changing a continuous coating to a discontinuous one were shown to allow an effective increase in the residual stresses. The compressive residual stresses were established to have a favorable effect on the strength characteristics of both coating itself and a component with the coating as a whole.
