摘要
In this paper we propose a basic architecture for Multimedia Service Integration (MSI). MSI is common software infrastructure for developing service and operation systems of multimedia service applications. It consists of a set of component software which can be modified depending on users' requirements. Since versatile kinds of services and users' requirements are expected in multimedia services, it is important to define and select good component pieces. This paper presents a methodology for finding component pieces satisfying given requirements in a systematic way. Applying this, we found a method of describing variable and versatile requirements from which component pieces are derived.
