摘要：

The replacement of special steels by carbon steels has led to surface hardening treatment by means of induction heating. Parts of dissimilar shapes can be treated by using a single frequency by means of only one machine, provided that suitable fittings and controls are used. The explanations given which are illustrated by examples, describe the induction hardening of different parts for tractors and agricultural machines carried out by means of a 10 kHz universal installation.
