摘要：
Like many manufacturing companies in the mid-1980s, Applied Digital Data Systems (ADDS) decided to move its manufacturing operations offshore. But in 1989, the company decided to bring its video display terminal (VDT) manufacturing operations back from the Far East to Hauppage, N.Y. A critical factor in allowing the return home was the establishment of a cost effective total quality management (TQM) program.
