Detection of surface tension and effect of surface active flux in tig welding

摘要
The surface tension variation of weld pool with different size and the effect of active flux on surface tension of weld pool are studied during TIG welding of thin stainless steel plate SUS304 in this paper. The surface tension of weld pool is detected based on the intrinsic relationship between the oscillation frequency of weld pool and the weld pool size, through detecting the weld pool oscillation and weld pool resonance signal. The experimental method is the preliminary application of surface tension detection of weld pool.
