摘要：
Results are presented describing the velocity fields and the streamline patterns for a variety of solid charge distributions and maldistributions. Serious flow maldistribution will necessarily occur in all blast furnace burdens where the solid charge is not layered uniformly in horizontal layers. Such maldistribution would be particularly severe if caused either by a central coke core or by an annular coke crown.
