Special Features of the Formation of the Crystalline Phase of Protective Glass-Crystalline Coatings in the Presence of an Electrostatic Field.

The effect of an electrostatic field on the rate of crystallization of the components forming from a boroaluminosilicate melt on a metal substrate has been established experimentally. In the case of glass-crystalline coating 122 it is shown that an electrostatic field of 7. 0-14. 0 kV/m orthogonal to the surface of flat samples accelerates by 1. 5 to twofold the growth of such components of the crystalline phase of the coatings as alpha -quartz (SiO//2) and wollastonite (Ca SiO//3). The presence of an electrostatic field during annealing leads to a decrease in the volume fraction of micropores and a redistribution of these pores in the material of the investigated coatings. In the presence of an electrostatic field (during annealing) a more uniform distribution of the crystalline phase through the volume of the protective glass coating is attained.
