摘要
The fully functional single-board microcomputer system, a near-miracle just a few years ago, is rapidly becoming a popular alternative to multiboard systems in both embedded and packaged applications. Moreover, even with popular bus structures like Multibus and STD Bus, functionality is becoming more and more concentrated in what used to be known as CPU cards. Essentially, such boards are rapidly evolving into full-blown single-board computers, with off-board functions restricted to specialized I/O chores. More on-chip CPU functions, CMOS, super-8-bit and 32-bit designs are boosting performance.
