摘要
This paper reviews the various processes of making formed coke for blast furnaces and the results of the use of formed coke in commercial blast furnaces. Formed coke is produced by a two-stage process of cold or hot briquetting and the external or internal heating depending on the properties of raw material coals. Tests in commercial blast furnaces were generally successful in proving that formed coke can replace regular coke up to about 50%.
