摘要：
The author developed and fabricated a device to clean tanks up to 3000 m**3 in capacity for the tar refining division of the Avdeevka Coke Works. The device was installed on a tank commissioned in March 1983. It consists of a system for steaming and softening of the freshly precipitated solids (production of a tar-heavy tar products emulsion) and a system for removing the emulsion. The steaming system consists of a header of steel pipe, D//n//o//m 80; it is installed on the cover of the tank.
