摘要：

This year marks the second year of Napier University's Transport Research Institute's (TRIs) successful operation. A three-year research development grant from the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council (SHEFC) has led to several appointments. Several grants have also been awarded to TRI. The main organizational change during the year has been the creation of the University's Maritime Transport Group.
