Macroscopic field-induced anisotropy (FIMA) of RMA systems DyxY1-xAl2 (x = 0.3, 0.4, 0.6) are studied by torque magnetometry. Cooling in fields higher than the coercive field Bc and measuring at a smaller field, Bm, we observe a crossing from uniaxial to unidirectional FIMA, depending on the ratio Bm/Bc.
