摘要：
The mathematical models of fixed film biological processes for wastewater treatment are proposed. The characteristics of biofilm, such as biofilm thickness, biofilm density, biofilm composition, and the transport and reaction within biofilm are discussed. The solution techniques for the mathematical models are presented.
