The benefits and profitability realized by an in-plant manager, Doug Fenske by converting to a computer-to-plate (CTP) workflow are discussed. The benefits includes perfect registration, faster imaging speeds and significant process improvements. Fenske has realized labor savings, and reducing of staff by going down of the setup time by 75 percent with the low cost of investment. CTP is all about step reduction, and process free CTP removes another step from a complex process.
