摘要：
The entire issue of hazardous area safety is becoming critical because younger instrumentation and control engineers and technicians don't understand design and installation issues and the associated risks any more. Since many senior engineers who once knew it are retired, few engineers left at the company is under a lot of pressure to complete such projects. As a solution, U.S. is gaining more acceptance of the intrinsically safe (IS) equipment.
