摘要：
The building described was completed in North Dakota. It houses a complex array of radar equipment for detecting and tracking incoming, enemy ballistic missiles. Blast-resistance is achieved by the building's shear-wall design. Blast loads imposed normally to a wall are transmitted through the slab-floor system to the two walls parallel to the direction of the blast. Reported to be applicable in commercial structures, and can be adapted to analyzing the impact of wind and earthquake forces on a structure.
