摘要
High-precision cold shearing is an economical method for cutting bars. In addition to minimum material consumption and high productivity, this cutting method offers sufficient accuracy of the sheared workpieces for further processing, e. g. in forming machines. Investigations into the cutting of copper bars have revealed that the surface roughness of the cut-off sections is comparable with that of ground workpieces.
