摘要
The basic elements required to construct a quantitative model of internal mixers are described. The shear stress, shear strain and temperature fields are functions of the mixer geometry, the rubber rheology and the operating variables - mixing time, rotor speed, cooling water flow rate and temperature. Dimensionless groups dependent on these processes are extracted from the analysis and these groups are to be held constant in scale-up.
