'Superplastic forming' of commercial purity aluminum

摘要
The performance of commercial purity aluminum is compared with superplastic alloy following superplastic forming. It is indicated that using optimum cycle (strain rates), is it possible to superplastically form inexpensive commercial purity aluminum to the same extent as some of the commercially available superplastic alloy in a die with relatively simple configuration.
