摘要
The block diagram of an Analog Line Interface Card (ALIC) is presented which is the major component of a universal telephone procedure simulator, and which is used to simulate all known types of telephone procedures. The card simulates all types of analog telephone lines, as an image of the equivalent interface for evaluating Private Branch Exchanges (PBXs) or Central Exchanges (CXs): trunks, tie lines, extensions, and special attachments such as contact sense/operate, with different types of lines and signalling techniques, dc, ac, etc. The ALIC is a 'passive' card which contains all the necessary analog decoders or generators, which can be scanned or driven by an external centralized controller.
