摘要
The quality and reliability of protection equipment depend equally on the design and construction of the relays and systems and on the technical properties of the components and circuits used. Careful failure analyses guarantee the security of protection equipment, while dependability is increased by such measures as providing for redundancy and supervising serviceability. The specific measures which Brown Boveri takes to ensure the reliability of their protection equipment are presented.
