摘要
Radiogenic and radioactive elements, including gases of subsurface waters (helium, argon, xenon, and radon) are quite effective indices from the information point of view for solving the indicated problems. A combined interpretation of data on the content of radioactive and radiogenic gases and elements in subsurface waters permits obtaining information of a genetic character, establishing the sources of entry of gases into subsurface waters, and solving a number of applied problems of geology. For the example of the Tashkent artesian basin the authors examined the results of the combined use of data on the content of radiogenic and radioactive gases and elements (He, Ar, Rn, T) in subsurface waters for assessing the hydrogeodynamic conditions of the basin. Four aquifer complexes are distinguished in the hydrogeological section: in fractured rocks of the Paleozoic basement; in Cretaceous arenaceo-argillaceous deposits; in Paleogene and Neogene deposits; and in Early Quaternary deposits of the Syr Darya and its tributaries.
