摘要
The MHD transport equations are analyzed for toroidal systems. The results indicate that, depending on the radial profiles of the temperature and density, the radial electric field and the azimuthal rotation velocity of the plasma can take on different values. A given plasma configuration may correspond to sseveral (as many as four) stable azimuthal-rotation modes. The values of the transport coefficients are very sensitive to the rotation conditions.
