摘要
Principal features of the scientific basis of system studies in power engineering are examined. It is shown that these studies include theoretical and methodological features and their application for a comprehensive solution to fundamental problems of power engineering. Basic features and Soviet advances in theoretical system studies in power engineering are discussed. Methodological and content-related aspects of these studies are discussed briefly.
