摘要
The speed of sound in the liquid phase of the binary blend of R134a and R152a and its components has been studied. The speed of sound was measured by means of the impulse method at a frequency of 2.1 MHz. The temperature range was 230 to 350 K at pressures up to 16 MPa. The values of speed of sound were measured with a standard error of not more than 0.25%. The results obtained for both components of the blend are represented with expressions based on a physical model. The standard deviation (versus the model) of the measured data is 0.09%, On the basis of the results obtained, the Redlich–Kister correlation has been used over the entire ranges of composition, temperature, and pressure to determine the speed of sound in the liquid phase and at the bubble point of the blend investigated. © 1999, Plenum Publishing Corporation.
