摘要
A practical method based on a comprehensive analysis is offered for calculating the earthquake response of a base-isolated building equipped with laminated rubber bearings. The relationship between the dynamic performance of the structure and the ground motion characteristics and structural parameters is considered. The results are approximate to those of the time history analysis, indicating that the proposed method is sufficient for engineering design.
