摘要
One possible approach to strengthening the metallic matrix of structural steels is martensitic phase transformation. Ultrahigh strengths are achieved by thermomechanical treatment, i. e. , by suitable structural transformation of deformation-hardened austenite with subsequent quenching. This article deals with the weldability of thermomechanically treated steels, cold and hot crack formation of these steels, and properties of the individual areas of welded joints. The results of brittle-fracture, corrosion and fatigue tests of thermomechanically treated steels are presented, and possibilities and conditions of producing welded structures from these steels are discussed.
