摘要：

A version of the boundary integral equation method (BIEM) is presented for solving elliptic boundary-value problems. This approach leads to a symmetric matrix in the resolving system of linear algebraic equations. The method is based on the use of a variational approach and direct formulation of BIEM. Solution of Poisson's equation in a plane triangular domain is considered as an example.
