摘要
A polarization independent optical switch of interference type on x-cut LiNbO3 with traveling wave electrode is proposed. The switch has a large bandwidth up to 6 GHz and a relatively small cross-talk less than -14 dB under the polarization independent switching voltage of 19 volts, Further improvement of the structure can make the crosstalk down to -20 dB.
