4.1.2 The Concept of a Decision Architecture For the Systems Engineering Development Process

摘要
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of a decision architecture for a life-cycle balanced systems engineering process that addresses not only the design of an operational system but also the qualification of that design. This paper motivates the need for such a decision architecture, namely to drive the operational architecture of the development system. Elements and uses of the decision architecture are discussed. Sample topics in a decision architecture are shown for the operational and development systems. Finally some historical case material is presented on this topic. © 2001 The Authors.
