摘要
A method of removing zinc from blast furnace dust and sludge is described which involves the dewatering and hardening of waste material into pellets and subsequent metallization of the pellets in a rotary furnace in the presence of a highly reactive reducing agent (semicoke). The method makes it possible to obtained iron pellets with 90-92% of the zinc and 50-55% of the alkali metals present in the initial material removed.
