摘要
Analog equipment continues to have certain areas of particular usefulness, but digital systems offer many advantages in trending and documenting the performance of control systems. These include accuracy, expandability, flexibility (including statistical analysis programs and graphical formats) and retrievability of data. Correlation of data between several recorders is also much simpler with digital systems. The cost of digital systems has come down greatly with the availability of powerful small computers.
