摘要
An algorithm for automatic construction of a fixture for cable laying is described. A programmable insertion device, such as a robot, is utilized to build its own fixture without intervention, and at a lower cost. A cable harness serves to connect a group of devices, termed connectors, terminators or components. The harness has a prescribed shape; for example, cable harnesses are manufactured to fit in computer frames in special channels.
