摘要
This article is an attempt to present the current problems arising from the use of insulants in the design and construction of electrical equipment. After briefly citing the factors capable of bringing about important changes, the progress and development prospects of insulants in production equipment and in energy transport and distribution are analyzed. Finally, the specific actions which must be taken in the coming years to meet industrial challenges are defined.
