摘要
After slow cooling from austenizing temperature and tempering at 580 degree with air cooling, the steel undergoes brittle intercrystalline fracture, which runs along the original austenite grain boundaries. The same steel cooled rapidly from austenitizing temperature ( similar 3200 deg/h) undergoes ductile intracrystalline fracture. The addition of molybdenum prevents intercrystalline fracture.
