摘要：
The modulus of natural rubber latex thread is an important property for manufacturers and is measured either on extension or by the Schwartz method. The effect on modulus of the vulcanizing system and the conditions of vulcanization were studied. The influence of processing was also examined especially with regard to stretching of the thread before and after it entered the drying/curing oven. The addition of more rigid polymer latices to the natural rubber latex compound was investigated and found to increase the thread modulus.
