摘要：
The properties of optical fibers require efficient connectors and other components for data communication networks. This article deals with optical connection devices and problems and solutions used by the Furukawa Electric Company to make the devices while maintaining high quality standards and working to keep prices low. Several of the company's products are used as examples.
