摘要
This paper summarizes the process technology in which polyurethane foam wastes are reprocessed by using steam hydrolysis of polymer with production of polyols and diamines. This method is particularly suitable for recycling flexible polyurethane foam because of its susceptibility to hydrolysis under conditions of high humidity and high temperature. Decomposition reaction mechanism taking place in presence of water vapor is suggested.
