摘要：
Aluminum adherends were prepared under various cleaning and etching conditions. Various factors that affect the adherend surface characteristics were investigated. The experimental techniques used for the surface characterization studies included electrode potential measurements, electron microscopy examinations, and electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis. Several differences in surface characteristics were noted between adherends that produced high peel strengths and those which provided lower strengths.
