摘要
This subsection of the Code contains the material specification, certification of materials for pressure retaining material such as vessel shells, heads and nozzles; pipes, tubes and fittings; valve bodies, bonnets and discs; pump casings and cones; and bolting which joins pressure retaining materials. Heat treatment and materials test coupons and specimens for ferritic steels for fracture toughness and impact testing as well as test requirements are specified. The standards for radiographic examination, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant and ultrasonic examination are included.
