Experimental results are presented on the local heat transfer characteristics of a descending flow of condensing saturated Freon-113 vapor in circular vertical tubes with diameters of 9.0 and 14.0 mm and the length of the cooled part of 1000 and 1500 mm, respectively. Measurements were carried out in the range of pressures from 0.115 to 0.55 MPa and mass flow velocity from 20 to 25 kg/m2s. A relation is suggested which correlates the experimental data on local heat transfer with a maximum error of 20%. A satisfactory agreement between the present results and the data of other investigations is observed.
