摘要
In this paper, stochastic models for both simultaneous and adaptive reclosing are presented and examined using a new set of probabilistic transient stability risk indices. The developed indices are based on load curtailments resulting from bus isolations and/or corrective actions to be taken to restore the system to a normal operating state. The developed stochastic models and the new probabilistic transient stability risk indices are utilized to evaluate the transient performance of a hypothetical test system. The effects of bus load uncertainty were also considered and demonstrated. The obtained results show that reclosing, especially adaptive reclosing, can improve the transient performance of a power system. © 1997 (A.H. 1417) King Saud University
