摘要
The design and optical/energy characteristics of the solar energy concentrator in a self-contained solar power installation (SSPI) with a Stirling engine are investigated. A thermal power on the order of 4. 5-5 kW can be achieved with a concentrator midsection area of not less than 10 m**2. As a rule, concentrators employ faceted construction; also, they are made to be collapsible for transportability. The collapsing/unfolding mechanism of the concentrator can be simplified if the load-carrying base is rectangular in shape.
