As the price gap between acrylics and rayons narrows, and as Far Eastern imports of acrylic knitwear continue to grow, manufacturers must seek alternative uses for acrylic fibers. Among those suggested are use with polyester staple and filament in combinations for both woven and knit apparel fabrics and in drapery and upholstery.
