Using the example of existing centrifugal low-pressure pumps and starting from the distribution of pressure and velocity in the motor, conclusions are drawn about the magnitude of energy losses occurring in the motor and the stator. The limitations of the possibilities of application of ring casings, as compared with spiral casings, and of motors with radial blades are substantiated. It is found that the stator has an effect on the maximum possible energy transfer by the motor but not on the cavitation limit.
