摘要
In the present paper, the system of film cooling of gas turbine blades is modelled analogous to the flow of a coolant through a rectangular slot inclined at some specific angle with the plane adiabatic surface. A Numerical Analysis Technique has been utilized for computing cooling effectiveness and the fluid properties at higher temperatures. The non-linear optimization problem is formulated and solved using the interior penalty function method with a variable metric unconstrained minimization technique.
